dragging yourself?

Have you ever felt that you are just dragging yourself to Do what you have to do?

Well, I have. I felt this way in my work and in my extra curricular activites....It felt terrible. But I had to stop being an "EMO" and just live! So, here are somethings that I have learned through those times (I hope you would too...)

1) God is not happy when I just drag myself.

2) I waste time when I am in "EMO" mode because I couls have been doing something more productive.

3) I may not like what I am doing but I am at the right place at the right time. God is just teaching me things that He wants me to learn so as to prepare me for the greater things that He would want me to do. I just need to enjoy and appreciate where I am now and what I do. "though His promises LINGERS, it will NOT fail".

4) I must not compare myself to other people and ponder on what I do not have. Instead, know and be secure, that I am unique and special. Only me can be me. They say, genes have a 10^3000 (ten raised to the 3000 power...hehe, di ko alam ang superscript dito e) probability when it comes to replicating. That means, only you can be you. I have been equipped for things that on me can do.

5) God does not really need me. He just wants me to be with me and so enables me to do what Ha wants me to do. He could have chosen another person to do it but He chose me because HE WANTS THE BLESSING TO COME ON ME.

6) In everything you do, in the way you look, in the words you say, in the things you look at...it must Honor and Glorify God :)

Disclaimer: I dont say I'm perfect...haha!

My FONE got DUNKED in the TOILET

Whaa!!!  My FONE got DUNKED in the TOILET!!! Yuck!!!!!

Like duh? Why would you even bring your fone in the toilet? Texting while doing your thing? hehe...

No way!!! That's not what happend! Anyway, I had to go work at 6am in the morning. I AM SO NOT A MORNING PERSON. It was 5:35 am already, I stacked up the clothes I was to wear that day and went to the bathroom. The next thing I knew, my fone was about to fall in the toilet! I tried to save it but it was already IN the toilet bowl! (Buti nalang there was no poo-poo or wee-wee yet) Pambihira! How did it get there?!!!! How did my fone go to the bathroom?! In the middle of the events, I must have put it in my pile of clothes before  went to the bathroom!

Horrible! I went to work late tuloy 'coz I had to rescue my fone and dried it hoping it would work pa. Because based on the stories that I heard, when their fones fell in the toilet bowl, it did not turn on anymore.

At work, holding my dry-on-the-outside fone,  I attempted to turn it on, fortunately, it did turn on but until 12nn only. After that, it was dead!

Since I am the kind of person who puts premium in commuication, I had to buy another fone. So after work, 2pm, I went to greenhills to either repair my fone, with a budget of P500, or buy a cheap fone that would work for me. I was thinkin of getting an 8250 if my fone was irrepairable, my dream fone, 8250 - sleek, small, cheap, and handy.

So I attempted to let my fone be repaired. I asked them to dry it, hoping that it would work after drying. But then, they said, it was the LCD that was destroyed so they'll have to put another LCD. If they'll do that, they'll have to charge me P1,200 for the LCD and labor. My reaction: No way kuya! Wag nalang po. I'd rather buy a new fone for P1500 than have my fone repaired for P1200?!!!

So I canvassed for an 8250. Unfortunately, every store in greenhills had 8250's but it was all out of stock! Pambihira! Kung suwertehin ka nga naman! But a store gave me a deal. P1600, brand new 8250, 2 months warranty, change unit. Okay na sa akin un. Kaya lang out of stock that day so if I want, ill get that N2100 muna then come back for the 8250. I said yes, badly needed a fone that day e.

Eto pa! After 2 days, my old fone, the one that got dunked in the toilet turned on! when I charged it!!! Haha! Now, I have two fones. So, if you have a sun #, message me so we can call each other up. Hehe

MORAL of the STORY:

1) Make sure you dont bring your fone in the comfort room/ bathroom/ which ever you call it.

2) If ever your fone will fell in the toilet bowl for whatever reason, do not turn it on, dry it first (completely) then turn it on after a day. :)

Haha!!!

DREAMER'S MANIFESTO:

I, ____________________, choose to live a life of adventure, excitement, service, joy, spontaneity and love.

I choose to love. And as I love I live.

As I live I give. As I give I serve.

As I serve I step closer to the reality of my dreams.

I will dream. I will dream big and amazing and spectacular and awesome dreams.

I will live my dreams and not compromise for the sake of security or safety or comfort.

I will jump-out of my comfort zone and embrace change.

Change, whom I fear. Change, whom I dread.

I will seek to live beyond what I can, believing that the God whom I trust is much, much bigger and greater than any obstacle I may face.

I will face my fear.

I will stop running away from it and turn around.

And when I am face-to-face and eye-to-eye with it I will grab the bull by its balls and make it scream
surrender.

I surrender. I surrender to my great Destiny knowing deep in my heart I am destined for excellence I am
destined for greatness.

Not mediocrity, not conformity.

Not in arrogance but with the mantle of humility placed upon me.

Because this is not about me.

This is about humanity.

I will persevere for the sake of humanity, who need men and women inflamed by passion that will ignite the
hearts of the timid and fearful souls to push on and soar higher.

And I will do all this not ten years from now when I am free.

Not five years from now when I have the money.

Not one year from now when I am ready.

Not one month from now when all is steady.

Not one week from now when I know how.

Not even tomorrow because tomorrow is far from now.

I will live my dreams now and I will act now.

KULANGOT

My nose is stuffy;

I feel so snotty;

The tissue goes boogie;

To make me breathe free.

The tissue from my nose,

becomes really, really gross

Turns brown, turns black,

Makes you shout, "yuck!"

The Metro's air is uber dirty;

So if you go out for a party,

Cover your nose,

That it won't "close".

The hardend mucus that forms inside your nose;

Booger, duggong, snot, kulangot,

Which ever you may call it,

You roll it and you throw it,

It's in there and everyone has it!!!

****Wahaha!!!***This is a poem I wrote while I was in the FX...***
